This device can be used either sitting down
or standing up (photo 1-2).
The two closing arms adapt themselves anatomically to the inner thighs. The
principal exercise consists in making rhythmical movements, synchronized with
the breathing, so that the closing of the device’s arms is coordinated with an
exhalation. While sitting, the device engages the adductor muscles (inner
thighs), and while standing, the adductors, gluteus, abdominals and psoas are
used.
THE SCULPTOR can also
be used to reinforce and define the pectoralis (photo 3), to facilitate
some simple abdominal exercises (photo 4), to strengthen the biceps
(photo 5), the grand dorsals (photo 6), and the triceps (photo
7).
